How to draw mermaids

Drawing tips on mermaids: Mermaids should have 3 times their head large a 3 time their head tall from the head to the begining of the tail.

Step 1:First, take a paper sheet and a pencil, then draw a quick pale sketch of all the general mermaid forms, circles and differente shapes. They will be used as a guidelines for the rest of your drawing. Keep in mind that you should do a quick rough sketch of forms like that to start any kind of drawing themes you do.

Step2: Then, you begin to draw your mermaid head, body, and anatomy on top of the forms and shapes you’ve drawn on your sketch in step one. Don’t go to much into details. Try to obtain the general proportions and pose.

Step3: At step 3, the last one, you finish your mermaid. Chose the right lines and forms you want to keep. Try to personalyse your own drawing. Put ink on it, and erase the pencil sketch you’ve used as guidelines. So here it is you sould have your pretty mermaid.
