General drawing tips on dwarves:

- Draw them with a bit more than 3 times the width of the head. They are strongly built, so exagerate their proportions. It s time to put a lot of muscles.
– They are 4 to 5 times the hight of the head. Try not to pass 5 times. they would look like a short and massive human.
Also they have a large but short neck. Notice how the chin hide it. And finaly, watch how their arms praticly goes to the knees. In some case, depending on the artist they do.

Step by step drawing tutorials on dwarf cararteres:

Step 1: First, draw a quick pale sketch of all the general dwarf forms and shapes with accurate proportions. Don’t go into details, this will be used as a guidelines for the rest of your drawing. Keep in mind that you should do a quick rough sketch of forms like that to start any kind of drawing themes you do.
Step 2: Then, you begin to draw your dwarf head, body, and anatomy on top of the forms and shapes you’ve drawn on step one.
Step3 : At this step, you finish your dwarf. Put details in his weapon and armor. Chose the right lines and forms you want to keep. Try to personalyse your own drawing. Put ink on it, and erase the pencil sketch you’ve used as guidelines.
