Drawing tips on how to draw an heavy chain mail armor step by step:

Step 1:
You draw your caractere. You can see the other pages of the site to learn how to do it.
Note:  Draw your caractere only in pencils, you will ink it at the last step with the rest of your drawing. The warrior caractere in the drawing tutorial is inked at step one only for a better visibility purpose.
Step 2:
Draw lines for the belt, the ones around the neck, some for the shoulder pads, the gloves, and the ones at the base of the heavy chain mail armor.
Step 3:
Draw the rest of the lines for the shoulder pads, the ones on the sides of the gloves, belt, and chain mail armor.
Step 4:
Add the studds on the studded leather robe and the belt. Draw the mails on the armor and add some ornements where you see it fit.
Step 5:
At this last step of your heavy chain mail drawing you choose and keep the right lines, make the nessessary corrections. Ink the caractere and the chain mail armor. Then erase the guideline sketch of the previous steps and all undesired pencils traces.
